NoFollowBack is built and operated by M. Tolun Tutuncu. This page explains what information we collect when you use the app or this site, and what we do — and don't do — with it.

What we collect

To send you login codes and keep your account working, we store your email address. When you use the follower/following comparison feature, you upload an export file from Instagram or TikTok — we read that file to compute your results and don't retain it beyond what's needed to show you those results.

We never ask for your Instagram or TikTok password, and we have no way to access your accounts directly. That's a deliberate design choice, not just a policy — the app has no mechanism for collecting a password even if we wanted to.

Automatic data

Like most apps, ours can generate basic diagnostic data when something goes wrong — device type, OS version, app version, and the time an error occurred. This is used only to fix bugs, never to identify or profile you individually.

Cookies and session data

We use a single cookie to keep you signed in between visits. It isn't used for tracking, advertising, or shared with any third party.

Third-party services

The mobile app relies on Google Play Services on Android devices, which has its own privacy practices — see Google's privacy policy for details. Beyond that, we don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

Security

We take reasonable, industry-standard precautions to protect the data we hold. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but protecting your information is something we take seriously by design — starting with never asking for your passwords in the first place.

Any links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices — we'd suggest reading their policies before sharing anything with them.

Children's privacy

NoFollowBack isn't intended for anyone under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and if we learn that we have, we'll delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and post the revised version here. We'd encourage checking back occasionally if you want to stay current.
